Hanna's education and training emphasized the importance of connecting the mind and the body into one cohesive unit, as modern research has shown that the two greatly influence one another. Strengthening this connection puts power back into your hands, leaving you feeling more in control of managing emotions, resolving conflict, and making constructive decisions.

Hanna has received thorough training and consultation in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). For the last two years, she has utilized EMDR within treatment plans to help clients effectively cope with symptoms of anxiety, depression, and traumatic experiences.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing

EMDR is a treatment modality that targets distressing and oftentimes traumatic experiences in one's life. It is rooted in the understanding that traumatic experiences have been stored within our memory (and our bodies!) in a maladaptive or harmful way, causing symptoms such as flashbacks, nightmares or lack of adequate sleep, intrusive thoughts, and feelings of worthlessness.​

Countless studies have shown EMDR's success in not only reducing distress surrounding traumatic memories and experiences, but also in strengthening more adaptive and healthy thought processes. In turn, clients report renewed self-confidence, peace, and agency.

Hanna is fully trained in EMDR and has thorough experience using this modality to effectively treat symptoms of depression, anxiety, and PTSD. She has nearly two years of experience providing EMDR through an online telehealth platform.
